Hoosac Night Hike

Come view the night sky without light pollution! Round up your friends and family for a winter nighttime adventure on the Hoosac Range above North Adams. We will hike to ‘Sunset Rock’ and back!

Bring an extra layer, water, and appropriate footwear. Snowshoes or crampons welcome as you see fit.

Hoosac Range Trail, North Adams MA: From the center of North Adams take Route 2 east toward Savoy/Florida. Climb past the hairpin turn and look for the Wigwam cabins on your right. Take a right into the trailhead/parking lot after the cabins but just before the green highway sign. If you cross into Florida, you’ve gone too far. Extra parking is available at the Wigwam Cabins and gift shop.
