Night Hike @ Yokun Ridge South

April 6, 2012 - April 6, 2012
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Bring your friends out to experience the Walsh and Charcoal Trails at night! We will begin at Olivia’s Overlook and hike the Walsh Trail to the vista where Walsh becomes Charcoal Trail. We will descend from the Ridge via the Charcoal Trail and return to the parking area. If we are lucky, April’s ‘blue moon’ will be rising over Stockbridge Bowl upon our return!

Distance: approximately 3 miles

Pace: Moderate

Terrain: Hiking trail with gradual increases in elevation

Getting there: From the center of Lenox take Route 183 south for 1.5 miles, passing Tanglewood. Where 183 bears left, go right on Richmond-Lenox Road, continue uphill for another 1.5 miles. Take a left into the parking area at ‘Olivia’s Outlook.’
