Come check out the plateau on our Hudson-Howard property, above Steadman Pond! From Steadman Pond we will travel on old logging roads and  hike off-trail.

Bring snacks, plenty of water, and appropriate foot wear! This hike will take about 2.5 hours and travel 3 miles.

Distance: 3 miles or more

Terrain: Rugged, off-trail, with a few short streches of logging roads.

Directions: From the MA Pike exit in Lee, take Route 102 towards Great Barrington. Take your first left onto Tyringham Road across from Big Y. Remain on Tyringham Road through Tyringham center to a right onto Monterey Road. Look for the maroon “Steadman Pond” sign on your right.

From Great Barrington take route 23 east towards Monterey. Take a left onto Tyringham Road and look for the parking area for Steadman Pond on your left, just after the Monterey town line.
