Hoosac Range Trail

Catch a summer breeze above the hot city!  Bring your friends and family to the Hoosac Range. Pack a lunch and relax on the rocky outcrops with phenomenal views of Mount Greylock and North County.

Distance: 6 miles round trip

Terrain: Trails with gradual elevation gains

Pace/time: Easy about 3 hours

Getting there: From the center of North Adams take Route 2 east toward Savoy/Florida. Climb past the hairpin turn and look for the Wigwam cabins on your right. Take a right into the trailhead/parking lot after the cabins but just before the green highway sign. If you cross into Florida, you’ve gone too far. Extra parking is available at the Wigwam Cabins and gift shop.
