Horizons Program benefits BNRC’s outreach

proctor
Holly Crane

The Resources Council enjoyed the benefits of the Miss Hall’s School Horizons Program this year as senior Holly Crane worked with our staff one morning a week to improve outreach efforts.

During her tenure, Crane, a Miss Hall’s day student from Windsor, completed two important projects. In the fall, she created a slide show introducing BNRC, its history and its current priorities. This spring, she worked with Narain Schroeder to create a comprehensive landowner information package — a one-stop dossier of critical information, documents and guidelines for owners engaged in conserving their land.

Her work will help BNRC in its relations with the public and with
conservation donors, and will strengthen its compliance with
professional standards and practices.

Crane, an accomplished actress, skier and soccer player, will attend Williams College. She is the fourth generation of her family to work with BNRC, following in the footsteps of two Frederick Cranes (her grandfather and great-grandfather), her uncle Dicken, and her father Tim.
