Berlin Road Property

Far in the northwest corner of Berkshire County a dirt road breaks off Route 2.  This road leads to a smaller dirt road, which leads to a deep bowl surrounded by the steep Northern Taconics.  Ahead is an even smaller dirt road that was once a main thoroughfare between Williamstown and Albany.  BNRC’s Berlin Road property is part of a larger complex of conserved land including the Taconic Trail State Park, Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation and New York State Forest.  The terrain is steep but spectacular views of the Northern Taconics, Green Mountains and New York State await visitors who venture to the crest.
